Let the assistant make a change for you
Ask in plain words, like "add Graeme Brown as a guest". It shows exactly what will change, and nothing happens until you choose Apply. Undo it in Activity.

Works on your phone
On Pro, and during your free trial, the assistant can do jobs for you, like adding a guest or ticking off a task. It never changes anything by itself: it shows you exactly what will change, and waits for your OK.
Steps
-
Ask for what you want, in your own words, in the chat or on the AI Assistant page. For example: "Add Graeme Brown as a guest", "Mark the florist invoice paid" or "Move the photographer task to next Friday".
-
The assistant answers with a card that shows the change, with each old value crossed out beside the new one. Nothing changes until you choose Apply. Cancel leaves everything as it is. A change that deletes something has a red Apply and says what will go.
If the assistant isn't sure which one you mean, such as two guests with the same name, the card asks you to choose first.
-
Choose Apply. The card says Done (1), and offers Undo for 30 seconds. On the AI Assistant page, View in opens the page it changed so you can see it.
-
On the AI Assistant page, each change gets a number in the chat, and its card waits in Details, under Changes. On a phone, a bar above the message box counts the changes waiting for you: tap Review.
-
To see or undo a change later, open AI Assistant and choose Activity (1). Every change the assistant has made is there, newest first. Undo (2) puts one back while it's still in effect, and clicking a change opens its page.
What it can change
- Guests: add, edit or remove guests, plus-ones, parties and categories, and replies for each event.
- Events and your itinerary: add, change or remove events and moments, and who's involved.
- Checklist: add, edit, tick off or re-date tasks, and give them to helpers.
- Budget and vendors: categories, invoices, payments and vendors.
- Seating: table numbers on your guest list, and your saved charts' names and which one is Final.
- Forms & RSVPs: open or close forms, set the RSVP deadline, edit questions, and approve or deny guests' requests to join.
- Your website's settings: its title and description, search engines, password, or taking it offline.
- Emails: write or rewrite a draft in Communications.
- Your wedding details: names, date, place and estimated guests.
Good to know
- It never sends anything. It can write an email as a draft, but sending is always up to you.
- Can't make a change? The assistant says so and points you to the page where you can do it yourself.
- Undo can't always work. If something has changed since, Activity says it couldn't undo it, so check that page.
- The assistant that makes changes belongs to the Pro plan's holder. Anyone you share your wedding with can ask it how WedBuild works, but not change things.
- Asking uses a little of your AI planner allowance. See Check your AI planner allowance.
