Works on your phone
Something on your mind that the ready-made list doesn't cover? Add it as a task, with a date if it has one, and it takes its place on the road with everything else.
Steps
-
Open Checklist and choose Add Task at the top (Add on a phone). On a computer the New task form opens beside your tasks on the Timeline tab. On a phone it slides in.
-
Type a Title (1). Add a Description if you like.
-
Under When, choose the Due date box (2) and pick a day. A line underneath says how far that is from your wedding. Leave it empty for a task with no date.
-
Under Details, choose a Category (3). Every task needs one. Assign to (4) is optional, and Priority starts on Medium.
-
Choose Create task (5). Nothing is saved until you do, and your new task opens straight away so you can check it.
Good to know
- Change it later. Open the task and choose Edit, then Update task. Delete asks you to confirm first, and a deleted task can't be brought back.
- The categories are set. You choose from the checklist's own categories, such as Venue & Catering or Attire & Beauty. You can't add your own.
- Removed every task with Remove all? That clears the categories too, so the form offers Create the default categories first.
- Medium and High show a small flag in your task lists, so the important ones stand out.
- Your own tasks keep their dates when you recalculate dates after a change of wedding date.
