Works on your phone
Moved the big day? Your ready-made tasks can move with it, so they're still spread sensibly between now and the wedding. It's one button once your new date is in.
Steps
-
Change your wedding date in Settings. In the checklist's own Settings panel, Open Wedding settings (1) takes you there. The checklist picks up the new date by itself, but your tasks keep their old dates until the next step.
-
Back in Checklist, choose Settings at the top (the gear on a phone). Under Task dates, check the date it shows, then choose Recalculate dates (2). It happens straight away, with no question first.
-
Each ready-made task moves to fit your new date. With more than about 15 months to go, a task that was due three months before the wedding is now due three months before the new one.
Good to know
- Tasks you added yourself keep their dates. Only the ready-made tasks move, so check your own.
- A ready-made task you re-dated by hand moves back. It goes back to its usual place before the wedding, so set it again if you need to.
- Wedding less than about 15 months away? The ready-made tasks are squeezed into the time you have, with the earliest ones due about a week from today.
- Ticked tasks stay ticked. Their dates move too, but they stay done.
- Don't see Task dates? It only shows once your wedding has a date and the ready-made checklist is in. See Start from the ready-made checklist.
