Start from the ready-made checklist
Your checklist comes with 94 ready-made tasks, dated back from your wedding day. Open Checklist, start with Behind and This week, and tick tasks off as you go.

Works on your phone
You don't have to work out what to do first. WedBuild starts your checklist with 94 wedding planning tasks, from booking the venue to the thank-you cards, each dated back from your wedding day. The checklist comes with every plan.
Steps

Open Checklist from the sidebar. The Dashboard tab shows the road to your wedding, with one dot per task in the month it's due: green for done, pink for overdue, gold for due this week and grey for still to come.

Scroll down to see what needs you now. Behind lists the oldest overdue tasks, This week what's due in the next 7 days, and Next up everything due in the next 30 days. Tick the circle beside a task once it's done (1), or choose its name to open it (2).

An open task shows when it's due, who it's assigned to and its priority. Choose Mark complete when it's done, or Edit to change it.
Start again
Want a fresh start? Choose Settings at the top of the Checklist (the gear on a phone) and scroll to Default checklist. Reset to default (1) swaps all your tasks for the 94 ready-made ones. Remove all (2) clears every task for a blank slate.
Both ask you to confirm first, and neither can be undone. Your own tasks and anything you've ticked off go too.
Good to know
- A few overdue tasks at the start is normal. If you join part-way through your planning, earlier tasks show as overdue. Tick anything you've already done.
- No tasks at all? In Settings, choose Import default checklist. Without a wedding date the tasks come in with no dates. Add your date in Settings (opens in a new tab), then recalculate your task dates.
- Add anything that's missing. The ready-made list is a starting point, and your own tasks sit right alongside it.
- Prefer a plain list? Switch off Show dates on tasks in Settings. Your tasks become one simple list, and nothing shows as overdue.
