Track where you're up to with each vendor
Every vendor has a status, from Research to Selected, or Rejected. Change it from the status button on their card, or drag the card to another column.

Each vendor sits at a stage: Research, Contacted, Meeting, Quote Received, Selected, or Rejected when they're out of the running. Keep it up to date and you can see at a glance who you're waiting on and what's still to book.
Steps
-
Open Vendors from the sidebar. The Dashboard tab starts with Where you're up to: every vendor in every category, counted by stage.
-
To move a vendor on, open the Vendors tab and pick the category. Each stage has its own column. Choose the status button at the bottom of the vendor's card, then the stage they've reached (1).
-
Or drag the card into another stage's column. On a phone, where the stages sit one under another, press and hold the card to pick it up.
-
When you book a vendor, set them to Selected and make sure they have a Quote Amount. Their category then moves from Still to book to Booked on the Dashboard, with their name and quote.
Good to know
- You can also set the stage in the vendor's panel. Open them with the pencil and choose a stage under Status at the top, then Save Changes.
- Just want to see one stage? Choose it from All Statuses in the toolbar, above your vendors.
- On the Dashboard, each category says where its vendors are up to, like "4 meetings". Click one to see just those vendors.
- Rejected vendors stay in your list, in their own column, so you can change your mind.
- A booked vendor can go into your budget as an invoice. See Link your vendors to your budget.
