Add a vendor, or import one from their website
Open the category on the Vendors tab and choose Add Vendor. Paste their website and choose Fetch details to fill it in, or type the details, then Add Vendor.

Found a vendor you like? Add them to the right category and they sit alongside everyone else you're comparing. WedBuild can read their website and fill in the details for you, and nothing is saved until you choose Add Vendor, so you can check everything first.
Steps

Open Vendors from the sidebar and choose the Vendors tab. Pick the category on the left (on a phone, from the list at the top). No category yet? Set one up first.

Choose Add Vendor (1) above your vendors. On a phone, it's Add in the bar at the top.

To fill it in from their website, paste the address under Import from website (1) and choose Fetch details beside it. WedBuild reads the site and lists what it found: their name, contact name, email, phone, address, website, social links and any packages, each with how sure it is. Tick what you'd like and choose Apply to form. Packages, and anything it isn't sure of, start unticked.

Check the details under Vendor Information, or type them yourself. Only Vendor Name (1) is needed. Put their price in Quote Amount ($) (2), so you can compare prices across the category.

Choose Add Vendor (3). They join the category at Research, or at whichever Status you picked at the top of the panel.
Good to know
- The other tabs can wait. Packages keeps a vendor's options and builds up each price; choosing Select on one fills in the quote. Comparison and Rating are where you score them.
- Each fetch uses a little of your AI planner allowance. If you fetch a lot of sites in a short time, WedBuild asks you to try again later. Not every site has details it can read, and then it says so, so you can type them in.
- To change a vendor later, choose the pencil on their card. Save Changes keeps what you changed.
- To remove a vendor, open them with the pencil and choose the bin at the bottom left of the panel, then Delete Vendor. This can't be undone.
- Vendors comes with Pro, and you can use it during the free Pro trial.
