What your plan and the 7-day trial include
Essentials is free for up to 50 guests. Standard and Pro add more tools and unlimited guests. The 7-day trial unlocks Pro tools, but the 50-guest limit stays.

WedBuild has three plans. Essentials is free, and Standard and Pro add more. Every new couple also gets 7 days of Pro to try, with no card needed.
What each plan includes
- Essentials (free): a guest list of up to 50 guests, the checklist, events, your wedding website and RSVP forms, save the dates, invitations and emails, and the AI assistant's help with how the app works.
- Standard: everything in Essentials, plus unlimited guests, the budget planner and drag and drop seating. For your website, it adds a guestbook, gentle motion as guests scroll, your own browser-tab icon and share picture, a smaller WedBuild footer, and a thank-you website that switches on by itself after the wedding.
- Pro: everything in Standard, plus the visual seating chart, a Find My Seat link and QR code for your guests, vendor comparison, the AI assistant that plans with your own wedding details, and your website on a domain you own. Guests can share their photos and short videos with you, with a live slideshow on the night. Your website can also have a second language, your own fonts, videos, no WedBuild footer, and a keepsake copy that opens without the internet.
Standard and Pro are one-time payments that include 2 years of access from the day you buy. Prices depend on your currency, so check them on the Plan tab or at wedbuild.com/price.
The 7-day Pro trial
- It starts by itself when you finish setting up your wedding, once per account. There's no card and nothing to cancel.
- It unlocks every Pro tool.
- It doesn't lift the guest limit. Your list stays at 50 guests, the same as Essentials. More than 50 needs Standard or Pro.
- The AI assistant runs on a smaller allowance during the trial.
- A domain you own can be verified during the trial, but your website only appears on it once you buy Pro.
- A notice on your dashboard counts down the days, and we email you a couple of days before the trial ends.
When it ends, you move to Essentials and nothing you've added is deleted. Standard and Pro tools lock until you buy a plan. Your website and RSVP forms keep working, because they're part of Essentials. If guests were sharing photos with you, that closes, but every photo they've already shared stays yours.
Steps
-
Open Settings and choose the Plan tab. The Subscription tile shows your plan (1). During the trial it says how many days are left. On a paid plan it shows the date your access runs to.
-
Further down, under Choose a plan (it says Compare plans once you've bought one), choose Upgrade to Standard or Upgrade to Pro.
-
Pay on Stripe's secure checkout page. You come back to the Plan tab, and your new plan shows there.
Good to know
- A lock means your plan doesn't include it yet. In the menu, those tools are greyed out with a small lock. Opening one shows the page faded behind a card that names the plan it needs, such as Pro feature, with a button to unlock it, Compare plans and Return to Dashboard. On the dashboard, the Budget and Seating cards show a lock and the plan's name.
- Can't add a vendor? Vendors is a Pro tool, so its page stays locked on Essentials and Standard. It's open during the trial.
- Buying Standard during the trial ends the trial straight away, and the Pro tools lock. WedBuild asks you to confirm first. Buying Pro ends the trial too, and you keep every Pro tool.
- Already on Standard? Upgrading to Pro costs the difference and keeps your current access dates.
- Need longer than 2 years? On a paid plan, Need more time? on the Plan tab lets you carry on monthly. You aren't charged until your current plan ends.
- The plan belongs to whoever set up the wedding. A partner or planner you've shared it with doesn't see the Plan tab, and locked pages ask them to check with you.
