Works on your phone
You've finished setting up, and your free 7-day Pro trial has started. Here's a calm order for your first week. Every job starts from your dashboard, and the numbers below match the picture.
Steps
-
Check your wedding details. Your names, date and place sit at the top of your dashboard (opens in a new tab). To change one, click the date or place (1), update it on the Wedding tab of Settings, and choose Save changes.
-
Invite your partner. Open Settings (2), choose Sharing, then Share, and pick Partner. Do it early, before your partner sets up a wedding of their own: an account that already has one can't join yours as a partner. See Share your wedding with your partner.
-
Start your guest list. Open Guests (3). You two are already on it. Add guests one at a time, or import your guest list from a spreadsheet. On Essentials and during the trial, the list holds up to 50 guests, you two included.
-
Add your events. Open Events (4). A Reception is already there, on your wedding date if you've set one. Choose Add event for your ceremony, welcome drinks or anything else. Celebrating over a few days? See Plan a wedding over several days.
-
Open your RSVP form. Your RSVP form is ready, but it stays closed until you open it. The Forms & RSVPs card (5) shows whether it's Open or Closed. See Open your RSVP form and share the link.
-
Start your website. Open Website (6) and start from one of our designs. Your web address is already made for you, and publishing is free on every plan. Want it on a domain you own? That's part of Pro: see Connect a domain you own.
-
Ask what to tackle next. A ready-made checklist was added when you finished setting up, with due dates worked out from your wedding date. Tasks that are due show on the Actions card, along with Ask AI what to prioritise (7). During your trial, the assistant answers from your own wedding details.
Good to know
- Your trial needs no card. It started when you finished setting up, and there's nothing to cancel. A notice at the top of your dashboard counts down the days. See What your plan and the 7-day trial include.
- Ready to tell people the date? Send your save the date by email.
- Changed your wedding date? Checklist due dates don't move by themselves. Open Checklist, choose Settings, then Recalculate dates.
- There's no rush. Nothing here has to be finished this week, and you can come back to any step whenever you like.
