Get help when you're stuck

Open the assistant and choose Explain this screen or Run page tutorial, ask it anything, read the Help centre, or email us at hello@wedbuild.com.

Not sure what a screen is for, or how to do something? Help is never more than a click away, on every plan, and it always starts from the page you're on.

Steps

  1. Open the assistant with the round button in the bottom corner of any screen. On a computer, Cmd + K (or Ctrl + K on Windows) opens it too.

  2. Under New to this screen? (1):

    • Explain this screen tells you, in plain words, what you're looking at and what you can do there.
    • Run page tutorial walks you through the page step by step. It only shows on pages that have a tutorial.
    • Help articles opens the help articles for this part of WedBuild in a new tab.

  3. Or just type your question, like "How do I add a plus-one?", and press Enter. Some answers come with a button that takes you straight to the right page.

  4. Something not working, or have an idea? Choose Report a bug (2) or Suggest a feature. See Report a bug or suggest a feature.

Good to know

  • Tutorials start by themselves the first time you open most pages (up to three in one visit, so you're not swamped; the rest wait for next time). Use Next and Back to move through one, or Skip tour to close it. You can run it again any time from the assistant.
  • The website editor's tutorial doesn't start by itself. Choose Tutorial at the top of the editor, or Run page tutorial in the assistant.
  • The Help centre is also in the sidebar, just above Settings. It opens these articles in a new tab.
  • Rather talk to a person? Email us at hello@wedbuild.com and tell us what you were trying to do and what you saw.
  • What the assistant knows depends on your plan. It can always help with how WedBuild works. On Pro, and during your trial, it can answer from your own wedding too. See What the AI assistant can do.
