Ask family to add their side

Make a link for someone who knows their side of the family. They add households on their phone, and nothing joins your list until you approve it.

Someone else knows their side of the family best. Send them a link and they can add their households from their own phone, with no account needed. You check everything before anyone is invited.

Steps

  1. Open Guests from the sidebar, choose the Requests tab, then Ask family. You can also get there from the last step of Paste a list.

  2. Say whose side it is, like "Mum's side", and who's filling it in (optional).

  3. Choose whether to Ask for emails and mobile numbers, so you can send invitations without chasing them.

  4. Choose Make the link. Then send it with Copy link, WhatsApp, Messages or Email. The message is ready to go, and you can change any of it. It comes from your own phone or email.

  5. When they've added their households, they show on the Requests tab, grouped under the link. Choose Approve all, or Review each to go one household at a time.

Good to know

  • They only see what they add. Your list and your guests' replies stay private.
  • They can come back. The same link takes more households whenever they're ready.
  • See what they'll see. Choose Preview in the dialog to open their page in your website's colours.
  • Done with a link? Choose Switch off. Anything already sent stays on the Requests tab for you to decide on.
  • Approved guests count towards your guest total, including the 50-guest limit on the Essentials plan. Nothing counts until you approve it.
