Works on your phone
Categories are coloured labels for groups like Bride's family or Work friends. A guest can be in as many as you like, and you can find each group in a moment.
Steps
-
On the Guests tab, choose Categories at the top. On a phone, tap the tag button. The Category Management panel opens.
-
On Create Category, type a Category Name (1). Then pick a Category Color (2): WedBuild starts you on a colour no other category uses, and + lets you choose your own.
-
Add a description if you like, then choose Create Category (3).
-
Now tag your guests. Click a guest, and on their Details tab tick each category they belong to (1). Ticks save straight away.
Good to know
- Tag a whole party at once with the Categories button on the party's row in your list, or under Party categories on a guest's Party tab.
- Tag guests as you add them with Categories under Party settings in the Add guests panel.
- See everyone in a category by typing its name in the search box and picking it, or by choosing it on the Categories tile of the Dashboard tab. See Find guests with search and filters.
- Rename, recolour or delete a category on the Manage Categories tab, with the pencil or the bin. Deleting one takes it off its guests, and the guests stay on your list.
