Put guests together in a party
Open a guest, go to the Party tab and choose Create New Party, then pick who belongs with them. Or choose a party under Or join an existing party.

A party keeps a household together for invitations, replies and seating. Guests you add as a couple or family are already in one, and you can group anyone else yourself.
Steps

On the Guests tab, click a guest who isn't in a party yet and open their Party tab.

Choose Create New Party. Give it a Party name (1) if you like. Leave it blank and the party is named after its guests.

Under Add guests, choose the people who belong with them (2). Only guests who aren't in a party yet are listed, and you can search by name.

Choose Create party (3). It saves straight away.
Want them in a party that already exists? On the same tab, choose it under Or join an existing party. WedBuild shows who's in it and asks you to confirm with Add and your guest's first name.
Change or split up a party

Open any guest in the party and go to Party. Change the Party Name (1) and choose Save changes. You can also rename a party with the pencil beside its name in your list.

Remove from party (2) makes this guest a guest on their own. Delete party (3) deletes everyone in the party, with their replies. Both ask before anything changes.
Good to know
- A party name made from its guests' names keeps up with them. For a party called "Ann Lee, Tom Lee", rename a guest, or add or remove one, and the name changes to match. A name you typed yourself stays as it is.
- Tag a whole party at once under Party categories on the same tab. Ticks there save straight away. See Sort guests into categories.
- Your list groups guests by party. Choose Parties or Individuals above your list to switch.
