Text every guest their own link
On Personal links, choose Text the 24 not sent, a guest's Text, or Text household. Check the message and who's left out, then Send. Each gets their own link.

Works on your phone
Once you have texts, WedBuild can send every guest their own link in one go. Each text starts with your names and carries that guest's own link, which opens your website or your RSVP form, as Where links open says. Nothing goes until you've checked it and chosen Send.
Steps
-
Open Guests from the sidebar and choose the Personal links tab. With texting on, your balance sits at the top (like "312 texts left"), and Text on a guest's row sends from WedBuild. Haven't bought texts yet? Text opens Text your guests first. See Buy texts to text your guests.
-
Choose Text the 24 not sent (the button says how many guests, and how many texts they use), Text on one guest, or Text household in a household's header for everyone in it who has a mobile. The review opens, headed Text 24 guests.
-
Under Your message, your names sit fixed at the start, like "Anika & Dev:", and Reply STOP to stop texts at the end wherever guests can reply. The middle is yours. {first names} (the guest's own), {link} (their own link) and {code} (their household's code) fill in for each guest: choose one to add it. Leave out {link} and we add their link at the end.
-
Check the line under your message, like "1 text per guest · longest is 141 of 160 characters", and how one guest sees their text.
-
Check who gets it. The table lists each country with its guests and texts, marked (sent at 8am their time) where it's night there. Not texted says who's left out and why, with Who they are. Your balance shows what's left after.
-
Choose Send and the number of texts, like Send 26 texts. Each guest's row then says how their text went: "Texted today · on its way", then "delivered", or "not delivered" in amber.
Who's left out, and why
Each guest is texted at their own number. A guest is left out when:
- They have no mobile number. Add one on your guest list.
- The number is a landline, or a number to check that doesn't look right.
- They opted out by replying STOP to a text from WedBuild.
- They're in a country we can't text yet.
- They share a mobile with someone already texted. One number gets one text, with the first guest's link, which lets them reply for the rest of their household.
A guest who can't be texted says why on their row, like "Can't be texted: a landline", and the guest list shows a chip, like Opted out of texts. Email them, or WhatsApp them from your own phone instead.
Good to know
- No texts at night. Nothing arrives between 9pm and 8am in the guest's own time: a text sent then waits until 8am there. The review says so before you send.
- Up to 3 texts a day to any guest, and up to 2,000 a day for your wedding. A send that would go over doesn't go, and says what to do instead.
- Not enough texts? The review says how many the send needs and how many you have, with Buy more texts.
- Your first names come first. Add them in Settings if they're missing: every text starts with them, so guests know it's from you.
- A text that isn't delivered gives its texts back to your balance.
- Replies come to your Inbox. See Read and answer guests' texts.
