Add a plus-one for a guest
When adding a guest, choose Add +1 on their card. For someone already on your list, open them, go to the Party tab and choose Add Plus One.

A plus-one is a guest of their own, shown as your guest's plus one until you know their name. They get their own reply, meal and seat.
When you add the guest

On the Guests tab, choose Add Guest and type your guest's name.

On their card, choose Add +1. A plus one card appears underneath, already named after your guest, like "Emma Lewis's +1" (1). Change it if you know their name.

Choose Add 2 Guests (2). Your guest and their plus one join a party of their own.
For a guest already on your list

On the Guests tab, click the guest and open their Party tab (1).

Under Plus one, choose Add Plus One (2). The plus one is added straight away, named after your guest (for example "Nicole Johnson's +1"), and joins your guest's party. If your guest wasn't in a party, one is made for the two of them.
Good to know
- Found out their name? Click the plus one in your list, change their name on the Details tab and choose Save changes.
- Plus-ones count as guests, in your totals and towards the 50-guest limit on the Essentials plan.
- Changed your mind? In the Add guests panel, the X on the plus one's card takes it away. Once added, delete them like any other guest. See Edit or remove a guest.
- Already know their partner's name? Add them together as a Couple instead. See Add a guest, a couple or a family.
