Why can't I add more than 50 guests?
Essentials, the free plan, holds up to 50 guests, and so does the 7-day Pro trial. Standard and Pro have unlimited guests.

On the Essentials plan, your guest list holds up to 50 guests. The free 7-day Pro trial unlocks the Pro tools but keeps the same 50, so nothing is left stranded when the trial ends. Standard and Pro have no limit at all.
How you'll know
- The count at the top of the Guests tab shows how many you've used, like 45/50 guests. It turns gold once you reach 40, and choosing it shows the plans.
- A Guest limit tile on the Dashboard tab says how many places are left, from 40 guests on, with See upgrade options.
- During the free trial, a note on the Guests tab, and in the panels for adding and importing guests, reminds you the list stays at 50.
When your list is full

If you try to add more guests than will fit, WedBuild shows the plans instead of adding them. Nobody is added, and your list stays exactly as it was.

Choose Upgrade to Standard or Upgrade to Pro there for unlimited guests, or Not now to close it. You can also upgrade any time from Settings, on the Plan tab. See What your plan and the 7-day trial include.
Good to know
- Everyone counts towards the 50, including plus-ones, guests you approve on the Requests tab, and guests who add themselves through an RSVP form open to everyone.
- An import is all or nothing. If your file has more new guests than there's room for, the check step says so before you import, and nobody is added. Buy Standard or Pro from the window that opens and the file finishes importing when you're back. Otherwise, import a shorter file.
- Already over 50? If your list has more than 50 guests, for example after a paid plan ends, nobody is removed. You just can't add more until you upgrade.
- Sharing your wedding? Only the person who set it up can buy the plan. If that's not you, the window says who to ask.
