Choose your phone country, budget currency and date style

In Settings, on the Wedding tab, Your local settings sets guests' phone country, your budget's currency, dates, times and paper. Then choose Save changes.

Works on your phone

WedBuild sets these from where your venue is (or where you signed up, if your venue doesn't say), so most couples never need to touch them. You can change any of them, any time, and nothing changes until you choose Save changes.

Steps

  1. Open Settings from the sidebar. It opens on the Wedding tab.

  2. Find Your local settings and change what you need:

    • Phone numbers: the country a guest's number is read in when it's written without a +. A UK guest's 07700 900123 is saved as +44 7700 900123, and WhatsApp links go to the right number.
    • Budget currency: what your budget, vendor quotes and dashboard are written in.
    • Dates: day first (20/03/2027) or month first (03/20/2027).
    • Times: 6:00 pm or 18:00.
    • Paper size: A4 or US Letter, for the pages you print from WedBuild.

    How it looks, beside them, shows a guest's number and your budget the new way.

  3. Choose Save changes in the bar at the bottom.

Good to know

  • Your choice stays yours. Once you save these, WedBuild never changes them for you.
  • Moving your wedding to another country? When your new venue is somewhere else, the tile asks first: Use them fills in the settings that fit there, and Keep mine keeps yours.
  • Changing the currency doesn't convert anything. Your amounts stay the same numbers, written in the new currency.
  • Plan prices are separate. They're shown and charged in your own currency when you pay.
  • Numbers already saved don't change. The phone country is for numbers added from now on.
