Works on your phone

Starting your guest list again, or finished with WedBuild? Both live in the Danger Zone, at the bottom of the Account tab in Settings. Take a breath first: neither can be undone, and there's no way for us to bring anything back.

Steps

  1. Thinking of deleting your account? First choose Download my data on the same tab to keep a copy. See Download a copy of all your wedding data.

  2. Open Settings, go to the Account tab and scroll to the Danger Zone. Choose Delete all guests (1) to empty your guest list, or Delete my account (2) to delete everything.

  3. A window says exactly what goes. Type delete in the box (1). The red button only works once you have.

  4. Choose Delete all guests or Delete my account (2). To stop, choose Cancel instead.

What goes, and what stays

  • Delete all guests removes every guest, with their RSVP replies, party groups and categories they were in. Your account and the rest of your wedding stay.
  • Delete my account removes your whole wedding: guests, details, RSVPs, seating, website, budget and everything else, including your photos and uploads. You're signed out straight away.
  • A monthly plan is cancelled first, so you aren't charged again.
  • Anyone you've shared your wedding with can't open it any more.

Good to know

  • You can come back. You can sign up again with the same email address, but you'll start from the beginning.
  • Only the person who set up the wedding sees the Danger Zone. Your partner and anyone else you've shared it with can't delete it.
  • Only want some guests gone? Delete them from the Guests page instead.
