Change your names, wedding date or location

Open Settings. On the Wedding tab, change your names, date, location or guest estimate, then choose Save changes in the bar at the bottom.

Plans change, and so can your details. Your names, date and location live in one place, and nothing changes until you choose Save changes, so you can try things out first.

Steps

  1. Open Settings from the sidebar. It opens on the Wedding tab. The big Your wedding tile shows what's saved right now.

  2. Change what you need (it's all on this tab):

    • The two of you: your first and last names, and your partner's (1).
    • The day: choose the Wedding date (2) to pick a new one, or tick We haven't decided on a date yet.
    • Where: type your Wedding location (3) and choose one of the suggestions that appear.
    • Estimated guests: a rough number for planning. Your guest list keeps the real count.

  3. The bar at the bottom says what's waiting, such as "1 unsaved change". Choose Save changes (2) to keep it, or Discard to put things back. On a phone the bar sits along the bottom of the screen.

Good to know

  • Choose a suggestion for your location. It sets your wedding's time zone, so the times in your plans are right. A location typed without choosing a suggestion doesn't change it.
  • Your names and date fill your cards and emails, and your date sets the countdown on your dashboard.
  • Your checklist dates don't move by themselves. After changing your date, open Checklist, then its settings, and choose Recalculate dates.
  • Ticking We haven't decided on a date yet clears the date until you pick one, in your checklist too. The countdown waits for it, and your tasks keep the due dates they have.
