Works on your phone
Plans change, and that's fine. While the couple's RSVP form is open you can change your reply as often as you need, and your newest reply is the one they see.
Straight after you reply
-
On the thank-you screen, choose Change my reply.
-
You're back in the form with your party and every answer just as you sent them. Change what you need, then carry on through to the end.
-
Choose Submit RSVP. If anyone's coming, the thank-you screen now says Your reply is updated.
Later on
-
Open the same RSVP link the couple sent you. If you got an email after replying, its Change my reply button opens it too, and so does an Update RSVP button in the couple's own emails.
-
Type your name and choose Continue. A note says You've already submitted an RSVP, and that submitting again will replace your previous answers. Choose Got it, continue.
-
Untick anyone in your party whose reply should stay as it is, then choose Continue to RSVP.
-
Go through the events and questions again. Coming back this way, your earlier answers aren't filled in, so answer each one the way it is now.
-
Choose Submit RSVP. Your new reply replaces the old one for everyone you replied for.
Good to know
- Until when? If the couple set a date replies close, the thank-you screen says it, and so does your email.
- Only the people you leave ticked are changed. Anyone you untick keeps the reply they already sent.
- Form Closed? The couple have stopped taking replies, or their RSVP deadline has passed. Get in touch with them directly and they can update it for you.
- Replying on a different form? Some couples have a second RSVP form for another event, like a welcome dinner. Replying on one form doesn't change your answers on the other.
