Works on your phone
The couple are taking RSVPs with WedBuild, so you can reply in a couple of minutes on your phone or computer. There's no account or password to set up, and nothing is sent until you reach the end.
Steps
-
Open the RSVP link the couple sent you, from their email, their invitation or their wedding website.
-
Under What's your name?, type your first and last name as they appear on your invitation (1), then choose Continue. If your name is close to one on the list but not quite the same (Liz for Elizabeth, say), the form shows both and asks Just checking: is this you? Choose Yes, this is me if it is.
-
The form finds you and everyone in your party, all ticked. If someone will reply separately, untick them (1). Then choose Continue to RSVP (2).
-
Each event has its own screen, with its date, time and place. Choose Attending or Not Attending for each person (1), then Next Event. On the last event the button says Continue.
-
Answer the couple's questions, one per screen, such as your email address or any dietary needs. Everyone who's coming answers for themselves, unless the couple ask a question just once for your party, or only of the adults or the children. Once the first person has answered, a link under their answer copies it to everyone else. Choose Continue after each one.
-
Check your answers on the last screen, then choose Submit RSVP (1).
Good to know
- You'll know it worked. A thank-you screen says You're all set! if anyone's coming, or Thanks for letting us know if not. If you're coming, you can add the events to your calendar from there. See Add the wedding to your calendar.
- Can't come? Choose Not Attending for everyone on each event. On the last event, Continue skips the questions and takes you to the last screen, where you can leave the couple a note. Then choose Submit RSVP.
- Some events only show for some people. If the couple invited only some of your party to an event, only those people are asked about it.
- Made a mistake? Back takes you to the screen before. Already sent your reply? See Change your RSVP after you've sent it.
- Name not found? See I can't find my name on the RSVP form.
