Track money family are giving you
On the Budget Dashboard, choose Add on the Contributions card. Type who it's from, what they've pledged and what's arrived so far, then choose Save.

Parents helping out, or a cash gift towards the big day? Keep track of what's been promised and what's actually arrived, and see how much of your budget is coming from your own pocket.
Steps

Open Budget. On the Dashboard tab, find the Contributions card and choose Add (1). Once you have some, it says Manage.

In the Contributions window, choose Add.

Type who it's From (1), such as Marie's parents. Then the Pledged amount (2), what they've promised, and Received so far (3), what's arrived. Add a note if you like, then choose Save (4).

The card now shows what's Pledged in total, what's been Received, and what's left From your own pocket: your total budget less what you've received.
Good to know
- It never changes your budget. Contributions sit alongside it, so your categories, invoices and payments stay as they are.
- Money arrived? Choose Manage, then the pencil beside the contribution, and update Received so far.
- The card appears once you've set your budget. See Set your wedding budget.
- Deleting one takes two clicks, the bin and then Confirm?, so it can't happen by accident.
