Add a client wedding
On Weddings, choose New wedding, type the couple's names and choose their location from the suggestions. Add their email to invite them now, or later.

Each client gets a wedding of their own in WedBuild, which you set up and run. Your couple doesn't need an account to get started: you can invite them as soon as you add it, or whenever you're ready.
Steps

Open Weddings from the sidebar and choose New wedding at the top of the page.

In Create a client wedding, type both partners' first names (1). Last names are optional.

Have their email? Add it under Couple's email (optional) (2). With Email them an invitation now ticked, they get an email to join their wedding as partners. Untick it to invite them later instead.

Pick the Wedding date if you know it. Then type the Location (3) and choose one of the suggestions that appear. The location sets the wedding's time zone, so it's needed.

Choose Create wedding (4).
The wedding appears in your list on Weddings, ready to open.
Good to know
- Each new wedding counts towards your plan, apart from your demo wedding. Haven't chosen a plan yet? New wedding asks you to choose one first, with a 14-day free trial. See Planner plans and the 14-day free trial.
- Choose how new weddings start in Settings, New weddings: which checklist they start with, a draft run sheet, whether you're the lead, and whether the couple is invited when you add their email.
- Admins on your team can add weddings too. Users can't.
- No email yet? Invite the couple later from People. See Share a wedding with your couple.
