Invite your couple into their wedding
In People, Couples, choose the couple and Invite the couple. They join as Partner, plan alongside you, and you can hand the wedding over to them later.

Your couple can plan alongside you in their own wedding, with their own login. They join as Partner, so they see and change everything, just as you do. The wedding stays yours to run until you choose to hand it over.
Steps

Open People from the sidebar and choose the Couples tab (1). Choose the couple (2): Not invited means they haven't been asked yet.

Choose Invite the couple (3).

Type one partner's Email (1). Add a Note if you like (2): it goes in the email.

Choose Send invitation (3).
They get an email from WedBuild. They sign in, or create a free account with that same email address, and accept. Nothing changes until they do. To invite the other partner too, choose Invite a partner and do the same again.
You can also invite them from the Weddings page: choose the couple, then the ... button and Invite the couple.
Hand the wedding over
Ready for your couple to run the wedding themselves? Choose them on Weddings, then the ... button and Hand over to the couple, and confirm with Hand over. This works once one of them has joined. They keep everything, your access ends, and the wedding leaves your plan. It moves to Essentials, the free plan, until they upgrade.
Good to know
- Where things stand: under The couple on WedBuild, each partner shows Invitation sent, Has access, Declined or Access removed.
- Invitation lost? Choose Send again beside it. To cancel one, choose Withdraw.
- Remove access takes a partner out straight away. You can invite them again later.
- Invitations last 30 days. If one runs out, invite them again.
- A couple who made their own wedding and invited you is listed too. It's theirs, so they decide who joins it.
