Works on your phone

You don't have to email everyone at once. On the Send tab you can pick out exactly who gets this email, one guest or two hundred, and nothing goes until you choose Send or Schedule.

Steps

  1. Open your email from Communications and go to the Send tab.

  2. Narrow the list if you like. Audience (1) shows All guests, only those who Has email, or those with a Missing email. Progress (2) shows guests by where this email has got to, such as Not sent. To find someone, type their name in the search box (3). Type the name of one of your guest categories and you can pick it from the list to show only that category.

  3. Tick the guests you want. Select all ticks everyone in the list who has an email address. Select not sent (1) ticks only the guests who haven't had this email yet. The Send button counts how many you've ticked (2).

  4. Choose Send to send now, or Schedule to pick a time. See Schedule an email to send later.

Good to know

  • Send goes straight away, with no second question, so check your ticks first. Clear unticks everyone.
  • Guests without an email address can't be ticked. Choose Missing email to see who they are, then add their addresses in Guests.
  • Guests who unsubscribed can't be ticked either. A line at the top of the tab says how many there are.
  • Nobody gets the same email twice. Anyone you've already sent it to is skipped. To send it to someone again on purpose, use Resend on their row.
  • One guest at a time? Each guest's row has its own Send now button.
  • The greeting covers the whole party. A guest in a party is greeted with every party member's first name, so if only one of them has an email address, they still see who's invited.
  • Hide children takes children out of the list. Vendors on your guest list never appear here.
  • On a phone, the filters are one list at the top of the tab: tap it to choose.
