Works on your phone

Once an email has gone, its Send tab becomes your tracker: who it reached, who opened it and who pressed a button inside. It's a handy way to spot who might need a nudge.

Steps

  1. Open Communications from the sidebar. Sent emails are listed first, each saying how many guests it was sent to. Click one and choose Open, then go to the Send tab.

  2. The numbers across the top tell the story: Sent, Opened (1) with the share of sent emails that were opened, Clicked (2) for guests who pressed a button in it, then Failed and Scheduled.

  3. To see who, choose Opened (1) under Progress. Each guest's row shows when it was sent and opened, and a number such as ×2 means they've opened it more than once. Not opened shows who it reached but hasn't opened it yet. To see the exact email a guest got, choose the eye on their row (2), or click the row.

  4. The Sent Email Preview shows that guest's email just as it reached them: the subject, the greeting with their name, the message and the buttons.

Good to know

  • Opens are counted when the email's pictures load, so the numbers are a guide, not a guarantee: some email apps hold pictures back, so a guest can read your email without it counting as opened.
  • Failed means it didn't reach them, for example because the address bounced. Check their address in Guests, then use Resend on their row.
  • The sent copy never changes. Edit the email later and the preview still shows what that guest was sent.
  • Want to nudge the ones who haven't opened it? Note who they are under Not opened, then send them a reminder as a new email. See Send an RSVP reminder.
  • On a phone, the filters are one list at the top of the Send tab, and each row shows just its latest time.
