Guests can say yes or no to each event separately, so you know exactly who's at the ceremony, the reception and the brunch. Two switches make it happen: one on the event, and one on your RSVP form.

Steps

  1. Open Events from the sidebar and click the event. If its Replies tab says RSVPs aren't collected for this event, choose Edit details (1), switch Collect RSVPs on and choose Save changes. New events start with it on.

  2. Put the event on your RSVP form. Open Forms & RSVPs, choose the RSVP tab, tick the event under Events and choose Save changes. Choose which events your RSVP form asks about has more, and Open your RSVP form and share the link walks through the whole form.

  3. As replies come in, the event's Replies tab shows how many have replied, and from how many guests. Choose All, Coming, Not coming or Yet to reply (1) to see just those guests.

  4. Each row shows the guest's reply, the form they used and when. Click a guest (2) to see their reply, everything they answered and every time they replied.

Good to know

  • Who it counts: everyone on your list for an ordinary event, or just the guests you've invited to a private event.
  • Your main event always collects RSVPs. It's usually the reception, and its switch is locked on.
  • Switching Collect RSVPs off takes the event off your RSVP forms. If it's the only event on a form that's open to guests, WedBuild won't switch it off: close the form, or add another event to it, first.
  • To change a guest's reply yourself, go to Guests. See Change a guest's RSVP for them.
  • Want the replies in a spreadsheet? See Export an event's replies.
