Works on your phone
Your RSVP form asks about the events you tick, one screen per event, and guests answer Attending or Not Attending for each person in their party. That answer is how you know who's coming, so every form needs at least one event.
Steps
-
Open Forms & RSVPs from the sidebar, choose the RSVP tab and pick the form.
-
Under Events you'll see every event that collects RSVPs. The menu showing All events (1) narrows the list to your public or private events.
-
Events marked Private (2) only show to the guests you've invited to them. Tick each event this form should ask about (3). Select all and Deselect all tick or clear the whole list.
-
Choose Save changes. Until you do, guests still get the form as it was.
If every event on the form is private
Then the form is invite-only. Here the form asks only about Marie's Hens (2), so the Events section warns how many of your guests can reply to it (1). Anyone you haven't invited is told We can't take your RSVP here and asked to get in touch with you.
To let more guests reply, invite them to the event from Events, turn off Private event for the event, or tick a public event on this form as well.
Good to know
- Don't see an event? Only events with Collect RSVPs switched on appear here. Open the event in Events, choose Edit details and switch it on under Who can come. Your main event always collects RSVPs.
- A form with no events can't be opened. Its Form status switch stays greyed out until you tick at least one.
- Guests who can't come to anything skip your questions. If everyone in a party says Not Attending to every event, they go straight to the last screen, where they can leave you a note, and send it with Submit RSVP.
- Each RSVP form has its own events. A second form for a welcome dinner or an after-party can ask about just that event. See Use a second or third RSVP form.
