Finished collecting replies? Close the form and guests can no longer send one. Every reply you already have stays just where it is, and you can reopen the form whenever you like.
Steps
-
Open Forms & RSVPs from the sidebar, choose the RSVP tab and pick the form.
-
Under Sharing, switch Form status off (1). The label beside the form's name changes to Closed (2).
-
Choose Save changes (3). Until you do, guests can still reply.
What your guests see
Anyone who opens the form's link sees Form Closed, with a note that you aren't taking RSVPs on this form right now and that they should get in touch with you directly. The link itself doesn't change. The form's preview in Forms & RSVPs shows you the same page, in the same words.
Good to know
- To reopen it, switch Form status back on and choose Save changes. The same link works again straight away, so there's nothing new to send.
- Want it to close on a set day? Set an RSVP deadline instead. See Set an RSVP deadline.
- Closing one form leaves the others open. Each RSVP form, Contact Details and Guest Self Entry has its own Form status.
- You can still look at a closed form. Open its link in the browser you're signed in to WedBuild with, and you'll see the form with a note that it's closed to guests. Nothing you enter there is saved. This works for Contact Details and Guest Self Entry too.
