Want to know who needs a seat on the shuttle bus, or who's staying at the hotel? Add your own questions to any RSVP form. Unlike the rest of the form, they save the moment you add them, so there's no Save button to remember.

Steps

  1. Open Forms & RSVPs from the sidebar, choose the RSVP tab and pick the form.

  2. Scroll to Your own questions and choose Add question.

  3. Type your question (1). Then choose how guests answer: Text lets them type anything, and Dropdown (2) gives them a list to pick from.

  4. For a dropdown, type each choice, and choose Add choice (3) for another. The cross beside a choice removes it.

  5. Under Who should answer this question?, choose who it's for: All Guests, One Per Party (one answer for the whole party), Adults Only or Children Only.

  6. Switch on Required if everyone it's for must answer it.

  7. Press the tick (4) to add your question. It's on your form straight away.

Good to know

  • Everyone it's for answers it, one question per screen, after the built-in questions. Only guests who are coming are asked. Once the first person has answered, a link copies their answer to the others.
  • Adults and children go by meal type. A guest whose meal type is Child on your list, or who picks Child on the meal question, counts as a child. Everyone else counts as an adult. If nobody coming is asked a question, like a children's question for a party of adults, it's skipped.
  • The preview shows every question, whoever it's for, so you can check each one.
  • Changing a question later works the same way: choose its pencil, edit it and press the tick. The arrows beside a question move it up or down, and the bin deletes it (you're asked to confirm first).
  • A dropdown needs at least one choice before it can be added.
  • Each RSVP form has its own questions. A question added to one form doesn't appear on the others.
  • See the answers on the Dashboard tab, under What guests told you, where you can also download them. See See and export your RSVP replies.
