Works on your phone
Not ready to send invitations yet? Ask guests a few things first, like whether they'd like a room nearby or a seat on the bus. It's not an RSVP: nothing here touches your RSVPs or your numbers.
Steps
-
Open Forms & RSVPs and choose the Before you invite tab. A form is ready to start from, with a few example questions.
-
Give it a Form title and A line to start, then change the questions:
- Add a question and choose its answer: Pick one, Number or Text answer.
- Show this question "Only if question 1 is Yes" asks a follow-up only after that answer.
- Limit how many can say Yes on a Pick one question, with what's counted (like "bus seats"). Guests see "Bus seats left: 14 of 40", and the answer shows Full once it's full.
- The phone beside your questions shows what guests see. Tap through it to try the follow-ups.
-
Switch on Taking answers and choose Save changes.
-
Share the link: Copy link, WhatsApp, Messages or Email open your own app with a message ready. Open as a guest shows the form as guests see it.
-
As answers arrive, Results shows how many households have answered and how many places are taken. See every answer lists them all, and Download CSV saves them for your venue or bus company.
Good to know
- Guests find their own name, the same way they do on your RSVP form, so they need to be on your guest list. Each household answers once, and can change its answers from the same link.
- A limit counts everyone in a household who says yes (or once per household, if you choose). WedBuild won't let a household say yes past the limit.
- It isn't an RSVP. Answers never change who's coming. Guests are told "This isn't your RSVP. Your invitation is on its way soon."
- Closing it (switch off Taking answers and choose Save changes) keeps every answer. Guests who open the link see that it isn't taking answers.
