Show a moment or a day to only some guests

In a moment's form, pick the event it's part of and who sees it: everyone, that event's guests, chosen guests or groups, or only you. Days work the same way.

With personal itineraries on, every part of your itinerary can be for everyone, or for just the guests it's meant for. A guest on day one can see four of its eight events, and only the moments that go with them.

Steps

  1. In Itinerary (opens in a new tab), open a moment, or add one with Add moment. On a computer the form opens on the right, so the rest of the day stays in view.

  2. Under Part of an event, pick the event it happens at, if any. Guests see it under that event's card, whoever it's for. Family photos can be part of the reception everyone goes to and still be just for the family.

  3. Under Who sees this (1), choose one:

    • Everyone: anyone with your link.
    • Guests at the event it's part of, like Guests at Mehndi: the moment follows who's invited to that event.
    • Chosen guests or groups: tick groups from your guest list, like Family, or choose guests one by one with Choose guests.
    • Only you: never on anyone's itinerary.

  4. Choose Save. The moment's row shows who it's for, like Mehndi guests or Chosen guests.

  5. A whole day works the same way. Choose the pencil (Edit day) beside the day's name and pick under Who sees this day. A day for chosen guests shows For chosen guests under its name.

Good to know

  • Who's invited to an event is set in Events, never twice. Change an event's guest list and every moment for it follows.
  • People you add to a moment always see it. Assign the bridal party to the photos, and they see them whoever else they're for. See Add people to each moment.
  • Groups stay up to date. Add someone to a group on your guest list later and they see everything that group can.
  • A day for chosen guests hides its own moments from everyone else. Your events on that day still follow their own invitations.
  • Turn on personal itineraries first. Until then, a moment is either for everyone or only you. See Give each guest their own itinerary.
  • Your shared link shows only what's for everyone. A moment for particular guests is only on their own itineraries.
