Works on your phone

Your itinerary has one link for everyone: your bridal party, your family and your vendors. It always shows the latest version, so when a time changes you never have to send it again.

Steps

  1. In Itinerary (opens in a new tab), choose Share at the top of the page. On a phone it's the share icon. The share settings open, and the preview beside them shows each change before you save it.

  2. Under Your link, choose Copy link (1). Switch on Link is live (2) so people can open it. To keep it private, switch on Require a password (3) and type one. Then choose Save (4).

  3. Under What they see, you can add a Page heading (1), like your names, and a Welcome message (2). Switch on Show vendor credits (3) to show your vendors' names, or Let guests find their moments (4) so each guest can pick their name and see where they're needed. Choose Save.

  4. Send the link however you like, by email or in a message. Guests don't need an account to open it.

Good to know

  • Who sees this decides what's on the link. A day or a moment set to Only you never appears, and nor do private notes.
  • Want each guest to see only the events they're invited to? Switch on Give each guest their own itinerary under Personal itineraries. See Give each guest their own itinerary.
  • Vendor credits show names only, never your vendors' contact details.
  • The password is the itinerary's own, separate from your website's password. Guests type it once. To keep the same password later, leave the box empty when you save.
  • Finding moments without a password means anyone with the link can see your guests' first names and last initials. WedBuild reminds you of this, so add a password if you'd rather keep them private.
  • The link's address is your wedding's link, the same one your website and RSVP form use. Change it with Change your link in Settings. If you haven't set one yet, WedBuild asks you to do that first.
  • Switch Link is live off whenever you like. Anyone opening the link then sees Itinerary not found.
  • When the link is live, the Share button has a small green dot.
  • Printing a programme or a card? A QR code on a Studio card can open your itinerary. See Make a QR code for your paper invitations.
