Works on your phone
Printing at home or using a print shop, you get the same sharp file. Choose the size you want and WedBuild keeps your card's proportions, so nothing is stretched or cut off.
Steps
-
Open your card from Studio and choose Download or print at the top right of the editor.
-
Check the choices, top to bottom:
- Format (1): leave it on the PDF for printing. The other choices are a printer pack for a print shop, or a PNG or JPG picture to share.
- Quality (2): Print quality keeps words sharp at any size. Choose the flattened 300 DPI image only if a printer can't open the other file.
- Add bleed and trim marks (3): tick it if a print shop is making your cards. Leave it off if you're printing at home.
- Size (4): the width of your printed card. The height follows your card's shape, and the line under it shows the exact size.
-
Open Size to choose a width: Small (3 inches) up to Extra Large (9 inches), or Custom… for any width from 1 to 20 inches. If your card was made at a print size, such as 5" × 7", its own size is first in the list.
-
Choose Download PDF, or Print to send the same PDF to your printer. The note above the buttons says how Print works in your browser: some open the PDF in a new tab to print from there.
Good to know
- Bleed and trim marks carry your background 3 mm past the edge and mark where to cut, so there's no white sliver if the blade wanders. Your card is still the size you chose once it's cut.
- The printer pack is a folder with the print-ready PDF (bleed and trim marks already on) and a page for your printer with the trim size, the fonts and a suggested paper stock.
- A card with two pages downloads as one PDF, one page per side. A PNG or JPG saves just the page you're looking at.
- Pictures are sized in pixels, starting from For sharing (1080 pixels wide, good for messages and social posts).
- Print a test copy first at the real size, and if your card has a QR code, scan the paper copy with your phone. See Make a QR code for your paper invitations.
- The panel waits a moment ("Preparing…") while it gets your card's photos ready, then the button appears.
- On a phone, Download or print is the download button at the top of the editor.
