Works on your phone
Every card has its own web link, so you can send it in a text, WhatsApp or a group chat. Guests just tap it: there's nothing to sign up for or download.
Steps
-
Open your card from Studio and choose Settings at the top of the editor. Card settings opens.
-
Under Preview link, choose the copy button (1) and paste the link wherever you like. No link yet? Choose Generate Preview Link first. Link Active (2) must be on for the link to work.
-
Want it to arrive in an envelope? Switch on Deliver in envelope (3). Pick an Envelope color and a Wax seal color, type your Couple names for the flap (your initials go on the seal) and choose an Event date. Then choose Save envelope settings. Guests tap the envelope, the seal cracks and your card slides out.
-
This is what a guest sees when they open your link on their phone, with any buttons you added underneath the card:
Good to know
- Changes show straight away. The link always opens your card as it is now, so a fixed typo is fixed for everyone.
- Turning off Link Active stops the link working for everyone, including guests you've emailed the card to: their email's button opens this same link.
- Add buttons under the card, such as Update RSVP or Add to Calendar, in the editor's Add tab. See Make your wedding invitation.
- Address it to the guest, in the envelope settings, writes each guest's name on the envelope when they open the card from their own invitation email. Opened from the shared link, the envelope carries no name.
- The open button beside the link shows you the card exactly as guests see it.
- Just want someone's opinion before you share? Send them a review link instead. See Ask someone to look at your card before you send it.
- On a phone, Card settings is the settings button at the top of the editor.
