Ask someone to look at your card before you send it

In the card editor, open Settings and choose Create a review link. Whoever you send it to can comment on the card, even pin a spot, but can't change it.

Works on your phone

A second pair of eyes catches the typo in the date before two hundred people do. A review link lets anyone you choose look at your card and leave comments, without an account, and without being able to change a thing.

Steps

  1. Open your card from Studio and choose Settings at the top of the editor.

  2. Under Ask someone to look, choose Create a review link (1). Copy the link that appears and send it to whoever you'd like, in a text or an email.

  3. When they open it, they see your card with a comment box beside it. They can type what they think, add their name if they like, and choose Send. To point at one spot, they choose Pin a spot and click that place on the card first.

  4. Their comments appear in the same place, under Ask someone to look in Settings, marked "pinned" if they pointed at a spot. Once you've dealt with one, choose the tick to mark it done, or the bin to delete it.

  5. Finished? Choose Turn this link off. The link stops working, and the comments stay so you can still read them.

Good to know

  • They can't change your card. The review page says so, and there's nothing on it to edit.
  • New comments appear by themselves while you have Settings open. There's no need to refresh.
  • It's a different link from the one guests get, so you can collect thoughts on a draft without it going anywhere near your guests.
  • Anyone with the link can comment, so send it only to the people you want to hear from. You can turn it off at any time.
  • Planning with your partner? Share your wedding with them as Partner and they can open and change your cards themselves. See Share your wedding with your partner.
