Works on your phone

Your invitation is made in Studio, like your save the date. The extra step is the part guests use: buttons under the card when they open it online, so they can RSVP or add the day to their calendar in one tap.

Steps

  1. Open Studio from the sidebar and choose Start from a template. In Select a Template, choose Wedding Invitation (1), click a design to see it large, then choose Use this design (2).

  2. Make the words your own: double-click any words on the card to type. Check the date, the time and the venue line by line, because some designs come with sample details written in. See Change the words, photos and colours on a card.

  3. Add the buttons guests see under the card online. In the Add tab, choose Buttons (1) to jump to Buttons under your card. Switch on Update RSVP (2) and choose your RSVP form, and Add to Calendar (3) and choose the event.

  4. Need room for the details? Choose Add a page above the card for a second page, such as a back with the timings, the dress code or accommodation.

  5. Send it. Email it from Communications with the Wedding Invitation template and Announcement card switched on (the steps are the same as in Send your save the date by email), share its link (see Share your card by link), or print it (see Download your card to print).

Good to know

  • The buttons are for the online card only. They show beneath your card when guests open it from your email or its link, and never on a printed copy. For paper invitations, put a QR code on the card instead: see Make a QR code for your paper invitations.
  • Make sure your RSVP form is open, or guests who press Update RSVP can't reply. A closed form shows "(Inactive)" in the list, with a note. See Open your RSVP form and share the link.
  • Two more buttons are there if you want them: Open Wedding Website (once your website is published) and Update Your Address, which asks guests for their postal address and adds it to their row of your guest list. It shows once your contact details form is open.
  • Your names often fill in by themselves. Many designs put in the names from your wedding details, and any QR code on the design opens your wedding website.
  • A second page prints as the back. A PDF of a two-page card has one page per side.
  • On a phone, the Add tab is at the foot of the editor.
