Works on your phone

Drawn your room in the Visual Seating Chart already? You don't need to lay it out again for Find My Seat. Bring it across in one step, and the map your guests see matches your plan.

Steps

  1. Open your chart in the Visual Seating Chart and choose Mark as Final. A Final tag (1) appears beside its name. This also puts everyone's table and seat on your guest list, ready for Find My Seat.

  2. Choose the QR Seating Chart tab, then Import from Visual Chart (1).

  3. Your Final chart's tables appear on the Room layout where you placed them, with their numbers and shapes, and your elements (like the dance floor) come across as labels. The layout saves straight away, so guests see it at once.

  4. To tidy anything, choose Edit Layout, make your changes and choose Save Layout.

Good to know

  • It replaces what's on the layout, tables and labels both. A background you've uploaded stays.
  • Text labels you added with the Text tool don't come across. Add them with Element on the QR Seating Chart instead.
  • Changed your Visual chart since? Mark it Final again, so the seats are up to date, then choose Import from Visual Chart again for the layout.
  • Can't see Import from Visual Chart? It only shows while a Visual chart is marked Final. If your Final chart is a Drag & Drop one, use Generate Tables instead. See Set up Find My Seat.
  • On a phone, the button is called Import.
