Set up your room in the Visual Seating Chart
In the Visual Seating Chart, set your room's size with Room, add tables with Table and the dance floor or bar with Element, then drag them into place.

The Visual Seating Chart is your reception room drawn to scale, so your plan looks like the real thing. Set the room's size, add your tables and the dance floor, and move them until it feels right. It saves as you go.
Steps

Open Seating from the sidebar and choose the Visual Seating Chart tab. To start a new room, choose New Visual Chart on the Dashboard tab, give it a name and choose Create Version.

In the tools on the left, choose Room and set the room's Width (1) and Length (2) in metres. Tables are then drawn to the right size for it.

Choose Table. Pick Round or Rectangle (1) and a Seat layout (2), then set the table's Number, its Seats and its Rotation. Choose Add Table (3). The table appears in the middle of the room: drag it to where it will stand.

For the dance floor, stage, bar or anything else, choose Element. Type a Label (1), choose a Shape (2) and its colours, then choose Add Element (3) and drag it into place. Text adds words anywhere on the room, like "Entrance".

To change something already on the room, click it. Its settings appear under Selected, at the bottom of the tools, where you can rename it, turn it, change a table's seats or delete it. Click an empty spot to let go of it.
Good to know
- Change a table's seats later with the – and + beside Seats under Selected, unless you added it with Custom Layout. See Remove an empty seat.
- Tables are sized for you from their seat count and layout. A table can have from 1 to 50 seats.
- Zoom with the – and + in the corner of the room, or Zoom in the View tool. Scrolling moves around the room.
- Double-click an element or a text label to open all its settings in one window.
- Seat numbers can be hidden with the switch in the View tool.
