Add a livestream link to your website

Add the Watch live section (or Watch live from Add, Live details), paste your stream's link under Edit, and choose when guests see it.

Family and friends who can't be there can still watch you say I do. Add a Watch live card with your livestream link, and it shows up for guests on the day, at the right time in their own time zone.

Steps

  1. Open Website and the Sections tab. Under Finishing touches, open Watch live (1) and click its design to add it to your page. Searching the tab for "livestream" or "video" finds it too.

    Rather put a small card inside a section you already have? Open the Add tab, choose Live details, then Watch live (1).

  2. Click the card on your page and open the Edit tab. Under Stream, paste your Link to the livestream: YouTube, Zoom or any other link. Add a Recording, for afterwards too if you like.

  3. Under When, choose From an event (your ceremony, or the day's first event) or A time on the day. Then choose when The stream opens (at the start time, or up to an hour early) and whether to Show the link On the wedding day only or Always.

  4. Choose Republish (or Publish website) so your guests see it.

Good to know

  • No link yet? That's fine. You can add it on the morning itself. Until there's a link, a Watch live section stays hidden from guests.
  • Guests see the time in their own time zone, with yours beside it. Your time zone comes from your wedding's location in Settings.
  • Change the words under Words: the button says Watch live unless you change it, and you can add a line beside it.
  • The video plays on YouTube, Zoom or wherever you stream it, not inside your website. See Can I add a video to my website?.
