Works on your phone

Some parts of your website keep themselves up to date from your planning. Your schedule shows your events, the RSVP button opens your RSVP form, and the countdown counts the days, so you never have to change them by hand.

Steps

  1. For a small live piece inside a section, open the Add tab and choose Live details. There's a Countdown (1), a Map, an RSVP button (2), your Date & names and Watch live. Click one to add it to the section you're looking at, or drag it where you want it.

  2. For a whole section, open the Sections tab. Schedule is under The day, and RSVP and Find your seat (1) are under Guests. The designs that fill themselves from your planning say Live. Click a design to add it.

  3. To choose what a live piece shows, click it on your page and open the Edit tab (or choose Edit content in the bar above your page). For your schedule, choose All public events (1) or Choose events, and Edit your events (2) opens your event schedule.

  4. Choose Republish (or Publish website) so your guests see it.

Good to know

  • Only public events appear. Private events never show on your website. See Make an event private.
  • The RSVP button opens your main RSVP form, or another one you choose under Button opens. Until you've made an RSVP form, guests won't see the button. See Open your RSVP form and share the link.
  • The countdown counts down to your wedding date from Settings, or to Another date you choose.
  • Find your seat stays off until you switch it on. In its Edit settings, switch on Let guests look up their table. Guests then type their first and last name and see only their own table. You also choose what they see of their table-mates, and whether look-ups open now or on the morning of the wedding. These switches save the moment you change them.
  • Every guest feature in one list: choose Site at the top of the editor, then Guest features. Each one (photo sharing, which comes with Pro; the guestbook; Find your seat and more) has its switch, the sections it's in (choose one to go to it) and Add the section when it isn't on your page yet.
  • A live section with nothing to show stays hidden from guests, like Find your seat while it's switched off. You still see it in the editor, with a note saying what to switch on.
  • The map shows your wedding location from Settings until you type another Address in its Edit settings.
