Works on your phone
The menu along the top of your website takes guests straight to a section, like your RSVP or the schedule. You choose which sections are in it and what each link says, and the links stay in the same order as your page.
Steps
-
Open Website and click a section's name at the top-left corner of the section, then open the Edit tab. Under Content, switch In the menu (1) on to add the section to your menu, or off to take it out. Menu link (2) is the words guests see in the menu.
-
To change the bar itself, open the Sections tab and choose Menu and RSVP button at its top, or click the menu bar on your page. Show Navigation Bar switches the whole bar on or off, Couple Names sets the names on its left, and further down are its fonts and colours.
-
Under Navigation Links, Keep links in page order (1) keeps your links in the same order as your sections. Untick it to put them in any order with the arrows beside each link. Each link has its words, and under them the section it goes to (2). Add Navigation Link adds another, and the bin removes one.
-
Choose Republish (or Publish website) so your guests see the new menu.
Good to know
- On phones, the links fold into a menu button at the top right of your website.
- Leave a name blank under Couple Names to show the first name from your wedding details. The bar keeps up when you change it there.
- Deleted a section? Its menu link goes with it, and Undo brings back both. In the classic editor the link goes too, but Undo brings back only the section: add its link again under Navigation Links.
- Links to a live section, like Find your seat, only show to guests once that section has something to show.
- Match Page Background makes the bar take on your website background (its colour, gradient or photo).
